Welcome to The Behavior Studio

At The Behavior Studio, we believe that behavior doesn’t change through isolated reactions, it changes through systems.

Our mission is to equip Preschool through 12th grade educators with the knowledge, skills, and decision-making framework needed to respond to extreme student behavior with clarity, confidence, and intention. This work is grounded in the B.E.S.T. Behavior Transformation System™, a capacity-building system designed to help teachers not just manage behavior in the moment, but transform it over time.

B.E.S.T. stands for:

-
Behavior Analysis – understanding what behavior is communicating and identifying the underlying need or skill gap
-
Environmental Design – proactively shaping classroom conditions to reduce triggers and prevent escalation
-
Safety-Centered De-escalation – stabilizing situations in a way that protects both students and teachers
-
Teaching Accountability – using consequences as a tool for reflection, skill-building, and long-term growth
This system develops the four core skills teachers need to move from reacting to behavior to responding with purpose. Because real change doesn’t come from having more strategies, it comes from knowing how and when to use them.
At the heart of our work are a set of guiding truths:
...behavior is communication, regulation must come before reasoning, prevention is more powerful than correction, and accountability must be instructional, not just punitive.
Safety is always the priority, and both reinforcement and accountability are necessary for meaningful change.
Through our trainings and resources, we help educators:

-
Analyze behavior beyond the surface
-
Design classrooms that reduce disruption before it begins
-
Navigate high-stress situations with safety and control
-
Teach students how to reflect, repair, and grow
This is the shift from managing moments to designing systems.

When teachers begin to think this way, something powerful happens. They stop feeling like they are constantly reacting, and start building environments, responses, and routines that shape behavior over time.

They become Behavior Architects.

If you’re ready to move beyond quick fixes and start creating lasting change, you’re in the right place.

Welcome to your studio.

Hello! My name is Roshanda Glenn
For nearly three decades, I’ve had the honor of teaching students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Eighteen of those years have been spent walking alongside students diagnosed with extreme conduct disorders - students who taught me some of my most important lessons about resilience, patience, and the power of second chances.

Over the years, I’ve discovered that managing behavior isn’t about control; it’s about transformation. To do that well, I pulled from everywhere I could: marriage and family therapy, teamwork principles from sports, listening skills from improv comedy, deep insight from behavioral psychology, and even surprising lessons from the worlds of debate theory and behavioral economics to name a few. What I found was a way to blend these approaches into a system that truly works, one that empowers teachers instead of leaving them overwhelmed.

That’s why I created The Behavior Studio. This is my way of sharing what I’ve learned with you - practical, effective strategies that help you handle extreme behaviors with confidence and grace. My mission is simple: to equip every Preschool through 12th grade teacher with the tools to not just survive tough moments, but to grow through
them - and help the students grow, too.

When I’m not in the classroom, I’m often writing poetry or designing graphics - creative outlets that fuel the work I do here. But at the core of everything is this belief: you are not alone, and you can manage whatever behaviors come your way.

So, welcome. You’ve found a space built for teachers, by a teacher who knows the journey and is eager to share it with you.
