In this training, we'll explore what's happening beneath the surface of challenging behaviors, how to recognize the warning signs of a developing crisis, and the practical strategies that can help you calm the chaos before it takes over. You'll walk away with a clearer understanding of how to respond with confidence, compassion, and skill, even in the toughest moments.

Beyond De-escalation: Crisis Response & Accountability
Half-Day Training (3 Hours)
Getting a student through a behavior crisis is only half the battle. What happens afterward matters just as much! In this training, we'll explore how to respond safely during a crisis, help students take responsibility for their actions, and use meaningful consequences to teach the skills they'll need to make better choices next time.
Knowing what to do during a behavior crisis is one thing, but putting those skills into practice when emotions are running high is another! This interactive workshop gives educators an opportunity to work through realistic scenarios, practice de-escalation techniques, and strengthen the teamwork needed to manage challenging situations. We'll move beyond talking about strategies to actually practicing how to use them when they matter most.
